About Us

Zac’s Youth Bars is ran by “The Sycamore Project”, a charitable organization seeking to show it’s Christian heart by engaging, inspiring and up-skilling disaffected groups, and contributing to the regeneration of South East Bolton in particular through

  • developing and running informal education, training and recreational programmes and activities  to promote social inclusion and employment  for young people, including diversionary activities to attract disaffected young people off the streets and away from antisocial behaviour and petty crime
  • providing informal training, arts & cultural programmes and activities, to develop skills, improve health and wellbeing and promote the integration of various disadvantaged groups of young people.

Zac’s has a proven 15 year track record of successful provision for young people and has 3 main bases for activities in Farnworth, Kearsley/Stoneclough and Tonge Fold.

Provide activities in safe and secure environments, which promote and enable the development of positive and meaningful relationships, supporting the young people in their journey to reach their full potential, living healthy and balanced lives.

Meet the immediate social, emotional and spiritual needs of young people whilst equipping them with the tools, motivation and ability to meet those needs for themselves in the future.

Neikhil Patel

Reach young people in order to encourage and empower them to develop new skills, abilities, experiences and achievements, equipping them to make positive decisions leading to positive impacts in their lives, and the communities they are a part of.


Show the love of God through words and actions whilst supporting local churches to provide opportunities for young people to recognise their identity as God created them (in His image) and explore the Christian faith.
